The data comprise the surficial features for NTS 84D/NE derived from fieldwork and LiDAR bare-earth digital elevation model data (unpublished) interpretation.
Completeness Report:
We initially compiled the data for the whole study area through LiDAR interpretation and verified them direct field observations of about 400 field sites distributed across the map area.

We estimate the accuracy of the surface-feature interpretations to be better than +/- 100 m on the ground, based on informed judgement of the effects of all combined map-production errors. No formal accuracy check verified the interpretation; however, field-site data provided control on interpretation. Site locations were measured with handheld GPS units, whose error is estimated at better than +/- 10 m on the ground.d. The root mean square error during georeferencing of the scanned image was less than +/- 35 m.

1. making a mosaic and relief shading the LiDAR for complete coverage of NTS 84D/NE;

2. digitizing polygons and line features across the LiDAR image of NTS 84D/NE using ArcGIS;

3. labelling spatial features;

4. checking the quality of the digital file; and

5. proofreading the text.
